Kean for DCL is enough for me assuming Gomes is ok. What I hope to see is a much higher tempo without these pointless passes across defence and passes back to Pickford necessitated by us allowing him to be our only unmarked player on the pitch.

Oh and I’m going to this one so its guaranteed to be an utter bore-draw.
 

I'd be extremely worried if we went in against Watford with a midfield of Davies, Gomes and Sigurdsson. Far too lightweight considering how they bullied us in that department for the 2-2 draw last season.

For that reason Gbamin probably starts.

Interesting team selection, there is me on the Kean thread saying Silva should have played Gbamin and Kean from the start at CP and some saying they were not ready. Just shows can't win with some folk. Oh after all it is only a game ask Megatron.
 

Provided Gomes is ok with that ankle then we actually have a two or three decisions to make.

With Delph still injured and Schneiderlin now suspended we have to decide who starts next to Gomes - Davies or Gbamin. You'd assume Gbamin, but I suppose it depends on whether Silva will feel he's ready enough to start with another week of training under his belt. If not then he may consider Davies the 'safer' option.

Will Kean start ahead of DCL? this is probably 50/50 for me, though perhaps the most likely outcome would probably be DCL retaining his place with the intention of giving Kean 25-30 minutes of the second half.

Lastly - will Iwobi feature? it's likely that he'll be on the bench, though interesting to see where exactly Silva would have him slot in when on the pitch.. likely in place of Bernard?

I think that may be a team better suited to a game in two months time rather than next weekend.
Gbamin and Kean are probably not ready to start games get and Iwobi is only starting training now(according to the manager).

I think a lot depends on the fitness of Gomes and Delph, if they are fit they will start, if not it may be Davies/Sigurrdson with Walcott coming in or Iwobi ,if fit, at least Iwobi knows what the Premiership is all about.
It would be a big risk to Start Gbamin again unless he goes for three at the back with Holgate , Keane and Minna, that could mean Sigurdsson or Davies and Gbamin with any three from Richarlison,Bernard,Walcott,Kean,Iwobi or DCL up front.
 
Although I dont think Iwobi is fit enough yet for a full game. Think Kean will come on as well at some point. Up Everton!
