now you're gonna hear about it
Before @mezzrow get's up in my arse again for being late with this, it's probably time to talk NFL version 2019. (We've already got a Fantasy thread, so I'm defo behind on this.)

Apart from Tom Brady walking back time and Drew Brees getting his 2nd ring then retiring, is anything else worth noticing set to happen this go around?

I honestly had not thought about the season starting. Another season watching my childhood team (Jets) flounder and my hometown team (Texans) be almost, but not quite, good.

Honestly hope the Browns are actually good just so something interesting happens.

Could largely care less about the NFC (though I like Brees and it would be great for him to go out on top).

No idea what to expect from the 49ers. I usually have a fair idea what kind of season they're going to have, but this season looks to be one of those where they could finish 10-6 or 6-10.

Saquon can maybe get 3-4 on his own, but you’ve got no QB and no WR and that kid you drafted from Duke is not an NFL player I believe

I *think* our OL should be up to scratch this season for the first time in recent memory, we've got no recognisable receivers, an ageing QB and an inexperienced defence. Pretty much the same criteria for our last Superbowl win!

And as for Daniel Jones. He's a good egg. Lovely fellow, kind to his elders. You leave him alone.

Jets managed to get Ryan Kalil out of retirement to help Sam Darnold.

Stranger things have happened, but Jets could just sneak a play off place!

Jets won't be floundering this season. Finally have things looking right off the field with the hire of Joe Douglas as GM. Im not convinced about Gase but that may change, but I sense a SB for gang green in the next 5 years
