I wonder how he would fit in here, but we don't have a dynamic ball carrier like he is, so I see the appeal. If he fits in well, it would really add different level of potency to the attack, but it's also fairly easy to visualize the move not working out so well.

All in all, if Brands feels like he's worth 60m or whatever, then I don't have any cause to dispute that based on his previous signings

My gut & what I’ve seen of him tells me he’s an enigmatic player. I can’t remember the last one of those that worked out well for us.

Limpard maybe(?)

If we get him I’ll be 100% behind him, I just have considerable doubts over the fee against what we’re getting.

Really not sure on that fee... Lot of pressure on him to do well with that and alot of money down the drain if he doesn't at least keep previous form but for that price I'd want more from him than at Palace. Positives though are going by the numbers we could expect 30 odd goals and double figure assists between him, Siggy and Richarlison then whatever Kean manages to bag, hopefully double figures with those 3 behind him. That would be close to our overall goal tally of last season from 4 players alone.

But a dozen goals and a dozen assists from Zaha would help heal the hurt.

Bernard could probably do a job at number 10, I think he's very cleaver and is creative.

But just no goal threat. Would rather see a wide forward.
