Clubs always drag out the selling process to try and pin the blame on the player for leaving.

It only seems to be SSN reporting this. BBC Sport (obviously they're a bit slow) are nowhere with this. Make me suspicious its even on. Could it be another 'Sky Sports News understands'....?
Time will tell.....but hopefully not too much time. We've still got deals to make and not much time to do them.

The danger is, does he have the hunger? He flopped at United, hes gone back to Palace and done quite well, his name certainly rings out, is Everton his last move? Wheres his motivation? Theres a danger and not just with this fella, but if we start struggling, do the heads drop or do we fight?
