Leaving aside the usual things.......transfer fee/will he settle on Merseyside, etc etc, what I like about him is that he always goes forward and takes defenders on, committing them. Hardly ever see him lounging around in midfield making square passes to no effect.

Wouldn't bother- most neutrals think its the top 6 then the rest - ignoring there is a big gulf between the likes of Everton, Wolves, Leicester and the rest.

Decent offer for Palace that, mainly because he quite clearly doesn’t want to play for them.
Palace are one of the better clubs in the league imo, and I’m not sure McCarthy would be an improvement on what they have. Tosun could do well there though, the only issue with Tosun for them is that the jury is still out and he could well turn out to be absolutely rubbish. Could do alright as well though

No way is he worth it, i think we all agree on that but it does get 2 problems off our books and brings in a decent quality player albeit for twice as much as he is worth but hey that is what the premier league has descended to these days.
