New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The new stadium looks amazing but honestly, from now on I'm going the match much earlier than my usual just 5mins before kick off, just to take in everything at Goodison and it's surroundings.

I was 5 when I went to my first match at Goodison and it's been my life ever since, for the past 25 years to be exact.

It's really hit home that not too much in the distant future, the old lady will be gone. Going to be an absolute mess at the last ever home game. It's time to cherish the old lady whilst we still can.

on mobile cant highlight but first paragraph, i remember Dunc saying his goodbyes i was only 11/12 and how emotional.. this is something else, good thing about being young will be able to tell my children/grandchildren what a wonderful place Goodison was ( if im still alive lol (nothing like a night under the lights/atmosphere in a big game, so excited yet so sad won"t have the experience for long but memories to cherish and its for the best. I think it's important that we get the balance just right, too many and it becomes too corporate looking and too little and it becomes a pointless exercise.

If the demand is there for more I reckon we shove tents on the roof, best view in the house form there I reckon

Personally I think a whole row on both the bigger sides, then one row at the top of the smaller stand behind the goal.

Maybe make more money off having more of the hospitality suite seats.

I think there's an overhead view knocking about which confirms where the exec boxes/seats are. It was posted before the release of all the images yesterday so not sure what page it was on.

Page 3725 mate there's an overhead image, two large parts of hospitality ( premium seating) in both the lower and upper tier and on the opposite stand hospitality/premium seating in the Upper tier.

I went in to town today & got to meet Dan Meis. Such a great humble & engaging fella. He went through a few bits with us & you can tell it is not fake, he's really took to us & has delivered an amazing design. If you get chance lads, try the headset & do the VR, absolutely insane & the view from the centre circle when both empty & full is immense. We really will have something special when it is built!!

I want it now. We need a clean slate the derbies in the goodison era getting sillier and sillier as the years go on. Just want this era. Tata stadium looks thirsty for trophies. And city dominance

Alan Myers nailed it here.

Even Mrs R, who has zero interest in football, and even less interest in where folk play it, was very impressed when I showed her the BBC link.

So in an hour, Adrian Durham and Mrs R say ;)
Someone said on here, the glass roof is meant to blend in with the sky. So if you hold your hand over one of the pictures taken in the distance and cover the glass roof, the bottom brickwork looks just like the Albert Dock.

So I did, and the resemblance is unbelievable, it’s a very clever design.

As a blind guess, I remember reading something about preserving the site to some capacity as a listed premises. So maybe they can’t just concrete in the hundreds of years old brickwork?

Maybe someone better ITK knows?
Meis confirmed the cost of £100m in the Toffee TV interview last night. Seems insanely high but I've read they need to be able to return the docks to their original state should Everton leave at some point.

Even from the man himself. "It is super important to get as many of you as possible to answer the survey, share your thoughts and ideas. It will be incredibly important to the process going forward! "

Any grumbles or any suggestions tell them! We seem divided on the capacity but I would like to match Tottenham.

Only 20,000 did the first consultation. Surely there's more than that even on GOT!
