The new stadium looks amazing but honestly, from now on I'm going the match much earlier than my usual just 5mins before kick off, just to take in everything at Goodison and it's surroundings.
I was 5 when I went to my first match at Goodison and it's been my life ever since, for the past 25 years to be exact.
It's really hit home that not too much in the distant future, the old lady will be gone. Going to be an absolute mess at the last ever home game. It's time to cherish the old lady whilst we still can.
on mobile cant highlight but first paragraph, i remember Dunc saying his goodbyes i was only 11/12 and how emotional.. this is something else, good thing about being young will be able to tell my children/grandchildren what a wonderful place Goodison was ( if im still alive lol (nothing like a night under the lights/atmosphere in a big game, so excited yet so sad won"t have the experience for long but memories to cherish and its for the best.
