I don't think for one moment that Delph would feature at left back for us. He'll be in that #6 role as we try to be a little more progressive without Gueye.

When he played LB for Man City it was a nominal position and he basically played as an auxiliary central midfielder, covering the left back position when the opposition had the ball. He's not going to be up and down like our fullbacks is he?

We would lose a lot of games if he was played more.

Depends when you play him.

I think he is ideal for the last 20-30 mins if you are chasing a goal. Would be better to have someone who can do that all game of course. DCL gives us more balance.

Several times. Even in January the talk was Mendes coming in for Gana if he went. Deal was supposedly already lined up.

We're not in for him Tel, and he won't go for £80m. I reckon they'll be queuing up at £50/60m and we wouldn't be on his radar. He'll be prolific in a good team. Both goals and assists. A very dangerous player.

Maybe it`s just me, but that doesn`t sound like a very good plan.
