Knowing this gold digger he'll refuse the move to sit in the stands watching our first team for 60k a week. Utter fraud. Sooner we find a sucker to take him off us, the better.

You could say that for Moyes: no fee, small fee, money barely back on all but a few of his purchases. Fellaini and Stones were probably the best profits we got on Moyes' signings. Arteta a good profit.

Lukaku was quite simply the signing of the 21st Century. Value on the pitch + profit. Cleverley and Deulofeu fees were profitable too.

Yes but also Pienaar

The signings of Baines, Lescott, Jagielka, Arteta, Cahill, Pienaar, Coleman were on the same level.

It's actually about a 6 mil 'profit'

Was coming into this thread to remind folks this exact point.. in terms of profit and loss need to stop thinking purchase price and start thinking book values.. that’s what matters to the FFP. A 6m profit actually allows us to by a £30m player with a 5 year contract and break even in year one.

The fact he doesn't have a thread sponsor should speak volumes to any Palace fans reading. That said, he definetly would of had a sponsor at his peak. Can he get to that level again? I'm not so sure.
