If he’s only 8 million I think this is a decent signing. We need some more senior figures in the side and though I’ve not seen much of him, he can’t be too bad if City thought him worthy of their squad. Seems like a sensible move.

Let's face it, he's worse than Gana, so if he's Gana's replacement then that's bad

He's at very worst on par with Schneider lin and McCarthy, if not better, so if he's replacing them then that's okay

I think IF Gueye goes we'll go and splash the cash for a young, hungry with lots of potential type of player. I think we are clearing the decks with the likes of Besic/McCarthy leaving and maybe even Morgan. If that's the case then we are bringing in someone for a decent fee and excellent experience.

That's my take on it anyway, qa always it's best to wait and see the whole picture of what their plan is and not just take this as a one off signing. I can't see us signing him if we weren't assured of getting rid of a couple.

I think Tom Davies should be worried though that another midfielder is coming in, he's really gonna have to step up to ensure that he's offering something different to the others now and really needs to up his game.
