theres been planning for 2 yrs..Merseyrail state there are no current plans for a new stn in that locale.

i know, it's a bit sad, he does have a life too with other things to do. Bit funny he flipped his lid like, but he is coming over in two weeks, so i'll give him that one. If any fanbase could scare off an architect building a state of the art new stadium though, it'd be ours haha

I think that Liverpool's status as a city - and whether we like or not LFC's champions league win, the history of both clubs the Beatles, the waterfront, the culture, the iconic architecture - all should motivate him to do something special - he knows it's going to be an icon for the city and that it'll transform the waterfront - I would expect something special too otherwise he wouldn't live up to his own status and reputation as a designer. it's the hope that kills us! But it will be amazing

The only thing it will transform is the view of the sewage plant from the swish office blocks and apartments further along, aka, they won't be able to see it.
All it is is a £650M hedge to screen an eyesore
