Vaughn = too risky
Saha = been given to many games this season
Yakubu = was starting to look sharp before Moyes dropped him for an unknow reason... I think he's our best choice at the mo
Beckford = showing some slight promise, but not good enough all round, I think he makes a good sub with his pace (as long as he doesn't keep getting caught offside!)
How about Baxter? Or even give Gueye or Joao Silva a chance? We've seen nothing of them yet.

Spoilt for choice! :(

Loan a young killer striker from an established team. Like i dunno, Macheda. Or Bendtner. Or bring frickin' Jo back, i dunno. If only we had the financial balls to bring in Huntelaar, but nooooo.

Jo's actually getting a game for City. If we're going to loan someone, it needs to be someone who knows the Prem and can hit the ground running. We have mentioned swapping Pienaar for Robbie Keane. I'd rather take a punt on him than bring in someone like Jason Roberts or Ricardo Fuller.

Id have Keane, but only if the money was right, for me he is a bit like Saha or Yakubu, he can score goals and hold the ball up, but he has no real pace.

I agree that he's quite similar to them. Whilst he's probably not a natural goalscorer, he's an intelligent footballer. He'd make runs for Arteta to play him in and he'd get the players around him to offer more movement. He's someone else with a point to prove.

sell yak (on high wages , should get a good few million) and vaughan ( derby or leicster standard , nugent is better and has more experience)

if offers came in for saha and anichebe id also consider it.

get micheal owen in on loan and buy david nugent. not ideal but both are cheap , can get goals , know the fans and have a good work ethic.

then if we have a good few million spare (9 or 10+ ) make a cheeky bid for doyle or carrol.

I'm not a huge Keane fan but he has an eye for goal and he is the kind of player who could do very well under Moyses tuition. Better to sort out some kind of deal with Pienar now than loose him in the summer and have no striker to show for it.

As long as someone like Villa doesn't come in with a cash offer for Keane, and Spurs want Pienaar now rather than in the summer, we could hopefully talk them down from £6m for the Irishman and talk up Peanuts' valuation. Kenwright is a master negotiator. If you look at our transfer history, we've come off best in pretty much every deal.

If we can get someone like West Ham to take either Saha or Yakubu for a healthy fee, I'd probably go for it. I'd possibly hang on to Vaughan, if we're going to lose Anichebe.

I wouldn't go anywhere near Owen or Nugent though.

Doyle is another grafter, which is not what we need. And we'd have no chance of getting Carroll.

West Ham wont bother going for Yak or Saha...and they wouldnt want to go and play in the Championship.

We still probably want upwards for £5mill for Yak and even Saha....no one in the prem would want to pay that.

Kenny Miller, now before you all laugh, the lad is on fire right now, his contract runs out at the end of season and he could fit into our present system perfectly.
And on top of all that he has the run for 90 minutes never say die attitude we all love and crave from our lads.
