They wouldnt.

People wouldnt buy an Everton kit cos it was Adidas.

Just like people dont buy United kits cos they are Adidas.

People get so caught up in this Umbro thing, its Umbro cos nobody else wanted to pay us more money than them.

Sunderland a bit disproportionate there as they buy their shirts for weddings, family photos and job interviews, the utter scruffs

It makes sobering reading that.

I do still think the likes of adidas would be better... but its a jam tomorrow situation... wait till the staduim is built it and were pushing for top four again and we are a more attractive proposition.

One of mybiggest bug beats these days is that there is hardly any coverage of us in the daily papers.

This years sales figures will make up the gap a lot: Our shirts have Archibald Leitch cross-strut designs to them.

Jesus, what a sobering demonstration of the financial gulf between the elite and the rest that shirt sales chart is.

Who mentioned mugs?

(n) In the store (Liverpool One) today.

A bunch of Spanish kids, some already carrying bags from the RS shop.

Admiring the new kit, and asking the assistant if they could purchase?

You all know the answer, hundreds of quid lost in revenue, and only RS shirts on the street of Barcelona, or wherever.

As the great man sang,

The only people who have lost money is Umbro.

Not us.

How did they get hold of the new RS home kit to wear around Barcelona?

Apart from thr cash generated I see it as a badge of dishonour, tbh.

Loads of flaneurs follow that lot. It's not something I'd encourage.

Bloody hell, so nobody will buy the kit cos its crap. But you don't want anyone to buy the kit.

What's a home run here?
