Would rather it have a bit of flavour rather than a plain blue shirt

Umbro, like Nike and Adidas generally with use the same GK template and just recolour it to suit. It’s not a great effort.

It’s different to anything we have had.
It’s bespoke, so stands us out.
It’s not garish!

If we win something in that kit, in years to come it may be a classic, because it is so noticeable and apart from anything else we have had.

I don’t love it ( like the green or the cream kits we had a few years back) but it’s a blue home kit that I could grow to love if decent memories get attached to it,.

I'll gauge its merits by
1) whether my son wants me to buy it for him.
2) whether we win a pot playing in it.

Imagine BMD rammed with this kit because we won a cup this season.

I do, for starters the kids kit is going to look even worse at least the sponsor breaks up the sudden stop from the weird stripes to the blue on the adult kit. In my opinion it's up there with the worst we've ever had.

*nothing wrong with the Leitch design of stadiums - its the clubs misty eyed reverence to days gone by as a marketing tool that irks.
