I'll be surprised if Liverpool have another season like the one just gone. They won at least 12 points
from offside goals, dives by Salah and goalkeeping disasters. Not to mention SLY Sports scheduling virtually every single game in favour of them week in, week out. We (City) were always scheduled to play after them so the pressure to gain a win was cranked up again and again and again - every single week. I still don't know how we won 14 games on the bounce home & away but thankfully we managed to pull it off. We also took 4 points off them last season and it should have been 6. Marhez skying a penalty to win the game at Klanfield at the death. VAR won't stop Salah diving like he has been shot to cheat the officials and win a penalty, in fact I think that may possibly get worse. It might however, force the officials to rule out blatant offside goals which as I say I reckon they had at least 11 or 12 of them last season. To gain 97 points and not win it must be a crushing blow. Especially when they had a 10 point lead. Ultimately they blew it and they know they did - a 10 point lead is a big lead to lose. They were totally crushed when we beat them at the Etihad. You could see it on their faces. That's when the doubts really started to kick in. They also know now that City are capable of putting a winning run together that they can't match. I'll be surprised if they exceed 90 points next season.
