Was his agent; apparently he fired her in feb. From the little I’ve read - he doesn’t sound like the problem. She’s sounds like a nightmare.

Rabiot is a bell sorry.

Very talented, but also very prone to sulk and kick off.

We defo wont be signing him thank God.
He’s also a big red. For some reason.

I think even if (in the very unlikely event) we did sign him he wouldn’t be here any longer than 2 seasons at the very most. I could deal with him moaning about wanting him to leave for a season if he can help us achieve something and bags us a big profit like.

I don’t think Rabiot will be champing at the bit to don the kit of Everton. I think a few on here need to dial back their expectations.
We will have to make do with the return of Yannick and Cuco...they’ll be like new signings!!

A few references to counter the general perception that he is an unhealthy presence in the squad. Quotes are referenced, other sources exist

Bad Character:

“"He was quite reserved, but he'd play the clown as well," Moulin said. "I rarely had any problems with Adrien, and we never had any complaints with him. Sometimes he was a bit unruly, but he was only eight years old. I always liked him.”[1]

Former Norway striker Daniel Braaten played alongside Rabiot for five months at Toulouse and says it was what the straggly-haired youngster did on the training pitch that left the strongest impression on him and his team-mates."He played like a man in a boy's body," Braaten told Bleacher Report. "He had a few 'how did he do that?' moments where he just left us scratching our heads. The technical execution of some of the things he did was high. “He was hungry, humble and eager to learn. I didn't see any signs of stubbornness, just a young kid happy to play. And he did well for us."[1]

Former coach in Toulouse (in 2013), Alain Casanova: ”For me he never had a state of mind, he never caused a problem, I had a problem the first day, with his mother, she wanted to attend all the training, and I I would not want him to be uncomfortable with his partners, seeing that his mother was on the edge of the field. But from then on I never had any problem, "he assured.[4]

Snubbed Tottenham for being ‘beneath him’

Tottenham Hotspur are considered "below" Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, a source close to the player (Wonder who that was????) has told ESPN FC.

The 23-year-old's mother and agent Veronique (Oh, look who it is) said earlier this month that her son has taken the "firm and definitive" decision to leave the French champions at the end of the season when his contract expires, while Barcelona have publicly denied that an agreement is in place for him to move to Camp Nou.

The source said that Spurs, as well as Juventus, have been contacted and alerted to his January availability for €10 million after he informed sporting director Antero Henrique that he will not be signing a new deal -- a move that means the player is "indefinitely benched.”[2]….

However, on top of Rabiot's demands of a €10m annual salary, large signing-on fee and long-term contract loaded with lucrative bonuses(Are these the demands of a 23-yr old, or his appointed representative?), the source close to the player said(See above) that the player and his entourage have their sights set higher than the Premier League club -- an opinion likely to raise eyebrows in North London.

His agent/Mother is a nightmare

Word is that he fired her after the Barca deal collapsed[5]

He is a Liverpool fan

Is this even relevant? Countless examples of boyhood blues/reds who crossed no-mans-land at some point, some did rather well as a result.

He wasn’t spotted at Anfield [3], it wasn’t him

Bringing the receipts. Top work my man.

I would have said no chance we have of signing him but then Fulham signed Seri last summer, who almost moved to Barcelona as was linked to the biggest clubs in Europe. And if his agents are in talks with us he cant be that put off by the idea..
