Slightly off the loan topic, I find it absolutely disgusting that the League allow chancers and former bankrupts to asset-strip the clubs that they should be watching out for and yet when players make a stand and go on strike because they have continually not been paid as they should be, the youth team are ordered to break the strike. (They have said that Bolton have to fulfil their fixtures with the youth team, if necessary.)

Thus has it always been. The rich will be looked after by the authorities; the rest of us can go hang. And if those in power can engineer divisions between us, so much the better.

Player Valuation: £1.5m
Not a lot. Struggled to make an impression at Grasshoppers - who are about to be relegated (!) - and was booted out of the squad by their second manager after Thorsten Fink was fired. The second manager has also been fired. The third manager has brought him back into the squad every now and again, but he's done the sum total of nowt in his spell at GC so there's no chance of them taking him back, especially with them playing in the Swiss second division next season.
