It didnt seem that long ago, pre-Cardiff, when some mutton-heads were casting doom and gloom about how they couldnt see where we would pick up any more points before the end of the season. Hang your heads in shame.
As much as I though Utd were thete to be plucked today the way we ripped them a new one was lovely to see.

So still buzzing from the game yesterday even more so me and our kid put this bet on in William hill outside Goodison. Slight mistake on the slip lol but they still paid out. What a day.

Apparently Everton are due 'some' credit yesterday, according to Jenas. But he feels Utd. should have beaten us 6-2 because Spurs did a few months ago.

Ignoring the fact we've just beaten Chelsea and Arsenal, playing with desire, fight and flair.

Garth Crooks with another little kick at us;

“United were poor at Goodison Park and while they should be beating the likes of Everton, the emotional impact of losing to Barcelona in the Champions League cannot be underestimated”.

He never gives us one iota of credit.

Still, after a weekend with some excellent performances, Garth Crooks has picked two Evertonians for his Team of the Week;

Seamus Coleman: He now wears the Everton captain's armband and justifiably so. Seamus Coleman has played a massive part in the victories over Arsenal, Chelsea and now Manchester United. United were poor at Goodison Park and while they should be beating the likes of Everton, the emotional impact of losing to Barcelona in the Champions League cannot be underestimated.

Gylfi Sigurdsson: It's not that long ago that Everton were going through a shocking period of games and there were questions raised about manager Marco Silva's suitability for the job. Gylfi Sigurdsson has emerged as one of the shining lights in Everton's resurgence since that period. His goal against a mentally shattered Manchester United was pivotal in Everton's excellent 4-0 victory at Goodison Park.

There is always some knobhead about.

OGS is just like a big competition winner to me, great achievement getting the post, congratulations.

Such media hype with Lineker and all the usual suspects - 'Surely they have to give it him now'.

Yes Gary, you, the pundits and their fans created a deafening clamour and Woodward, great at commerce if not so great on football, listened and made yet another remarkable managerial appointment.

Pochettino or Solskjaer?

They took the quick and easy route and gave in to popular demand, laughable.

Populism at it's very worst.
I think the decision was half made for them, the PSG result, Spurs still in the CL and Zinedan going to Real...who else is there.
How good they do the clear out / replace thing will be how long he stays

Anybody else notice the NBA player Larry nance jr at the game? Is he an everton fan? He was at the corner flag of the park end and family enclosure holding an everton shirt with his name on the back having pictures taken, before the game?

It's now made a main news story on BBC website. Man Utd lose a football game and it warrants a headline 'man utd. sucked into a vacuum of negativity'.

...Or they just got beat at a game of football!
