Sadly todays result is the sort that just cements the opinion that faith in Silva is baseless, and we'll just continue to coast along, losing more games than not, until the next crisis hits.
A good away win, followed by a creditable derby draw and then a two goal lead away from home which, was just crying out to be thrown away.
Unless something radically changes, that's all we can hope for next season, and the season after until somebody smells the coffee here.
Win a game here and there at Everton, and you've done enough, regardless.
