Computer games.

Mainstream gaming companies are dying on their arse.

Both Bethesda and bioware are banning players for cheating within the constructs of the game.

To put it into perspective , people are being banned for doing things that the entire game is allowing you to do. No hacks or exploitation, simply what is in the game is getting people banned.

Bethesda actually left the developers room in the game and are banning people now for item duplication. You know the expliit out of fallout 4 they lazily kept in?

Anthem are banning players because a certain chest had a good item chance. So players kept opening it......

Devil May Cry 5 tomorrow.

Bloooooodddyyyy looovvveeee Devil May Cry Definitive Edition.

That’s my kind of Dark Souls themed game. Button bashing overstyleised with mad guns.

This is why I play single player games.

The anthem chest kinda sounds like the «loot cave» in Destiny. Bungie however are not horrible people. They patched the cave and put a fun little easter egg inside it instead of banning people for farming it.

And I don’t think I’ll ever trust Bethesda again.

Are the Dirt Rally games much more difficult than the original Dirt series?

Very much harder mate.

They’re just much more realistic for rallying (apparently...I’ve never driven a rally car!).
But they’re much more rewarding I reckon. Like I finished 12th in a stage last night but was made up as I didn’t make a horrific error once.

They start you off easy on old crap cars which seem a lot easier but as soon as you get in anything powerful they’re all over the place. As they would be in real life.

Basically you can’t just hit the accelerator and go. It’s all about feathering your accelerating and that.

It’s very hard!

Anyone played any of the Dragon quest games? I picked up the XI for £20 on steam sale to see what is all about.

Yes mate, they're excellent if you like that sort of game. It's a quintessential JRPG.

It has its' own quirks like the metal slimes that give the series a unique charm of its' own.

I haven't got the new one but heard good things. If you like it, give Sentinels of the Starry Skies on the DS a go and the remake of Journey Of The Cursed King on the 3DS (which I own on the PS2; beautiful game).

Aye I've found myself getting back in to JRPGs since playing Octopath Travelers on switch (Great game btw) so thought I would pick this up as never played a Dragon Quest game. Also heard good things about fire emblem but not got around to playing that either

Fire Emblem is a different beast mate. It's a tactical JRPG. Also happens to be one of the best games I've ever played in Fire Emblem: Awakenings on the 3DS.

Highly recommended. Just... don't play it on permadeath first; it's brutal.
