ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Klopp fined for comments about the ref in the game they drew against West Ham. The ref should have been a “human being” and let them win basically.
Wonder if Friend will ref them again this season ?

Not even sure if a £45k fine is a lot in modern football anymore either, how mad is that.

I think Spurs are now in the driving seat for the title, just listenening to this debate on Talk Sport, interesting points made if Spurs and United both beat Liverpool, they have an easy run in, be amazing if they can win on the final day against us

Easy run in? Spurs have to go away to City, Chelsea and RS, whilst they have Arsenal at home too. Far from easy that. The title is City’s to lose.

Spurs can't handle pressure (and don't have the officials on their side)...... As soon as they are properly back in this title race they'll lose their next game... Shame really, they have a better team than Liverpool..

Ideally Spurs need to be in the title race when they play the RS. If they can get a result against them it doesn't matter then if they fall apart. Ideally the battle for 4th also needs to remain close so Chelsea will also be more obliged to put in a performance although I can see them concentrating on the Europa if the wheels come completely off. I personally think it is between RS and City but it would be funny if Spurs were still in with a shout on the last day.

Imagine the fume across the park and across Norway if all Spurs need to win the title is a point against us on the final day. Heads falling off all over the gaff.

Knowing our luck we would have gone 13 games without a win and a long Pickford clearance would bounce in and hand them the title. It would be funnier still if Spurs were behind on GD and we conceded 8 goals playing total football. However my nerves can't really face the prospect of them winning it so I want them out the race before the last day and knocked out of CL in the QF/SF as they need them extra games in the legs. If they walk away from this season with nothing given the position they were in Klopp needs to go. They sacrificed the FA Cup and to end up also rans would blow their little minds. My RS supporting friends are very conspicuous by their lack of football talk recently. Until the United game is complete they are favourites. Basically if they win they stay that way, the draw its too close to call, they lose and the wheels may very well come off!

No chance. City will win the league. Wouldn’t be surprised if they won the league, league cup and Champions League. They won’t win the quadruple though, United will win the FA Cup.
