At some point I think there has to be a straw that breaks the camel's back as such. Be it that lot winning the title or us being walloped at home by a club like Wolves after a shocking run of form but I think apathy will at some point turn to anger.
It has been nothing but apathy and anger, even when we win.

Goodison is either a graveyard or a toxic environment for our own team, which doesn't help performances, and *perhaps* that's why the players and manager(s) have asked the fans to be heard. To the people's credit - we're very heard when we boo.

It doesn't matter who we buy and who the manager is, people will still be negative, Goodison will still be a graveyard.

My point is that on anyday any manager can get result against the so called 'big 6'. We've beaten Arsenal, Man. United and Chelsea under Martinez. He was still crap. Eddie Howe has done alright with Bournemouth but we've gone down that route of getting 'flavour of the month' managers who have done alright with smaller clubs but can't handle the Everton job. It's getting boring now. If Eddie Howe wins a few cups with Bournemouth and other a 3 -4 years gets them consistently in the Europa League then, yeah, he's the real deal. Otherwise, like you advocate, we might as well just stick with Silva as he's done nothing as well.
Are you suggesting that a Silva side can't beat a big 6 side?

I wish people would stop going on about beating top six sides. Take care of beating all the lower teams and that will take all the pressure off from these games. Beat Huddersfield you get three points, beat Man City you get three points.

Liverpool is different, but even then Moyes finished above them three times, which is really what counts in the league. I

Indeed, again.

But as @davek is fond of saying....that fleeting moment was Camelot.

And Don Roberto and his company were not afraid to tilt at windmills.
Pity then that he left the drawbridge down, forgot to order more barrels of oil to repel boarders, and bought more crap with him from his previous castle after it fell down...Don roberto my arse. Couldn't even qualify for the CL. :D:D
