Why are you talking about Koeman? This thread is about the current manager. I’ve stated I’m not advocating change yet, just giving my opinion on EH in the midst of all this “Marco’s about to walk” nonsense. If people disagree, fine.

But as you’ve started quoting past results, try these below. They took a few hammerings along the way granted, but do we have a record that compares to this? When you add in last night’s result, I think probably not.

5/4/17: Liverpool 2 - 2 Bournemouth
4/12/16: Bournemouth 4 - 3 Liverpool
31/1/18: Chelsea 0 - 3 Bournemouth
5/12/15: Chelsea 0 - 1 Bournemouth
12/12/15: Bournemouth 2 - 1 Manchester Utd
14/1/18: Bournemouth 2 - 1 Arsenal
Impressive, but he signed Solanke and Ibe,do you really want him spending our money?

If the thread's about the current manager, why are you posting about someone who never has been - and I hope to God never will be - our manager?

My point is that on anyday any manager can get result against the so called 'big 6'. We've beaten Arsenal, Man. United and Chelsea under Martinez. He was still crap. Eddie Howe has done alright with Bournemouth but we've gone down that route of getting 'flavour of the month' managers who have done alright with smaller clubs but can't handle the Everton job. It's getting boring now. If Eddie Howe wins a few cups with Bournemouth and other a 3 -4 years gets them consistently in the Europa League then, yeah, he's the real deal. Otherwise, like you advocate, we might as well just stick with Silva as he's done nothing as well.

Because people are forever moaning about our awful record against the Sky 6, it’s just an interesting comparison (to me at least), that’s all

and we’ve also spent our new found wealth so brilliantly

I agree it’s getting boring. If we’re as loaded as some believe, why on earth can’t we attract a top top manager?

Hasenhuttl will be next as soon as he's won a few games and got Saints up to 9th or somewhere. When Silva's hi hoed he will be top of the 'list'.

"and we’ve also spent our new found wealth so brilliantly" Come on,there is wasting money then, really wasting money.

Mate...

There's subtle wummery, then there's just spamming the forum with nonsense.

Posts like that and you bumping Ashley Williams thread to say he cancelled his loan to come back don't raise a wry smile, they just irritate.
Sorry Sir, just a bit of light-hearted banter to lift the spirits here amongst our fans. I will try alternative approaches from now on!

Then we went and lost at home to bloomin Sunderland soon after.

Indeed.

But the point in question was about how it would take years to lose our Moyes induced inferiority complex at big away grounds.

I am just pointing out to @mikeh72
that whatever else about him, Bob showed it can and will be changed if a man with the right attitude is in charge.

And in fairness to Silva, he was showing similar traits up until Pickford.

It was a bit too fleeting under Roberto. We soon reverted to type in those games.
