Doesn't matter what any of us on here think. The only person that matters is Moshiri.

And he's an impatient man.

I don’t think he is impatient. 11th is not good enough and we are out of both domestic cups. We don’t throw around money just to finish 11th. To stay close to the top 6 is the bare minimum and in theory MS still have enough games to turn this around.

I wouldnt disagree with any of that. I think he has hard work to do in the short term and personally I think performances need to get back to what they were pre derby this season.

It’s a hard period for sure.

To illustrate the points I am making, remember we got Moyes, we barley stayed up in his first half a season, had an excellent second season, had a dire third season, champions league in his fourth. It takes time to make progress with what you have, take a step back to develop and build a team and bed in and then it forward game. Moyes inherited other managers messes, nearly got us relegated trying to change it and build, but proved he was right when he was able to put his stamp on his own players, in his own way within his own philosophey.

My point being what Everton need now is to commit, even in the face of adversity.
Yeah, but Moyes inherited an ancient team with not much quality. Marco has a squad with plenty of quality, he just can’t use it.

Sick of the constant re-drawing of Moyes years. We did well with no money, in fact considering our transfer budget very well. He never had the confidence to go head to head with the bigger teams away from home..a failing. With the budget Koeman had he would have won the treble. He is the ONLY manager worthy of the name since Kendall.
Exactly- considering the disparity in budgets, finishing above Liverpool three times in 11 years is quite an achievement. Finishing above Liverpool now would be us winning the league!

The obvious answer is Kendall etc, but it’s a bit simplistic.

I suspect we are both entrenched and aren’t for moving.

I don't think it's very sensible to compare Silva to Kendall tbh. Silva could do with striving first for the averageness Moyes brought before we start comparing him to some of our iconic managers.

I hope he turns it round. He's under massive pressure to do so. I have very little hope right now.

We need to give him a chance to get us out of this rut. If he can’t do that by the summer then he probably deserves to go. Although changing managers every year is pretty damaging to the club in my opinion.

I'd love to see Moyes recruited as a Defensive coach, if such a move was even possible. It's obvious Silva is the same as Martinez when it comes to (not) practising defending, so it would leave him to concentrate on midfield/forward play. If we lose to Huddersfield it will be very hard to see a way back for him, think he will not play Gueye so he has an excuse.

It's not going to happen. Experienced managers do not accept to be minor parts of a clubs backroom staff. It would be like Arsenal asking Wenger to become Emery's fitness coach.

These shouts are some of the worse you see on GOT.

It would completely undermine him and he’d lose the respect of the players as a result. May as well just sack him if we were to do that.

i think hes lost the players already, doesnt seem to have them playing for him

complete lack of personality i think is the issue, seems to be a change in the way we see successful managers these days though, master tacticians seem on their way out making way for man managers like Klopp, you only have to look at the difference in United.
which brings me round to Silva just doesnt seem an inspiring person
