A good reason not to sack him at least until the end of the season is that we're getting a reputation for hiring and firing managers, and not giving them a chance. It doesn't matter how bad the managers have been, because the impression is that Everton don't give managers time any more. That will put a lot of people off even considering managing Everton, and it's not exactly an exciting proposition as it is.

When would that ice break for you?

If at Christmas there is not a vast improvement. No point getting rid now only to have a manager come in and want his own players again. The team had something about them early doors but has gone badly wrong. Let him get more players in and out this summer and give him till Christmas to see if he turns it around. If not then fair enough....we change.

We're like Chelsea but without the prestige.

We've found our level. Nice one.
Utter rubbish. They have been gone over a year now.

This is Silva and Brands. You sound like one of the Tories blaming labour for all the ills ages after they came to power.

Brands is equally culpable for this mess. Dinge is the best of his supposed signings from Barcelona offers a bit more going forward from last season, but defensively only minimal improvement. Not good enough.

It's not good enough, but you wonder the difference a decent striker would make. Fixing several seasons of terrible investment requires more than one season. But I didn't expect this

Don't see why he stays but don't see who we can possibly get

Just a no win all round. He has been pathetic though doesn't even deserve to be here

Feels a long long way off that for me when there’s no sign of anything good round the corner.

Watford have had about 10 managers in the last 6 years, and they seem to find new ones who will work there. Chelsea sack a manager every 18 months, and yet have had a string of good managers. Don't think that is the issue here.

Tottenham had a long spell of hiring & firing.....until they got the right one.
Chelsea do it regularly too.
