I really hope he's got a move to Spain or something else lined up. I don't want to wish him bad luck or failure, but we've moved on and he doesn't fit any more. Unless he's secretly been working on his finishing, pace and he thinks he's a new no.9?

This appears the most likely explanation. Yannick doesn’t look like the type of bloke that would goose a gangsta’s moll but after the Rosscoe incident, I do not discount anything.
I expect the truth will emerge sometime soon...he will probably write a rap song about it.
