Hello again, optimism still high at the club?

I have no idea what to expect from niasse as a Cardiff fan. Is he good enough for a relegation battle?

He's a terrible footballer. But he runs around and a lot and some how manages to run into positions where the ball may hit him and it'll go in the direction of the goal.

Can kick a ball in the net now and then, but other than that is a shambles of a player. We now need to get a good temporary option to end of season or splash out on a top forward.

I have no idea who that could be and I doubt that anyone would let a good striker go halfway through a season

I still see noting to be gained by letting him go out on loan. Sure he's fourth choice right now but a couple of injuries to our already terrible attacking opinions and he'll be needed. If somebody wanted to buy him I'd be all for it. I just don't see the point in loaning him to Cardiff when it's pretty much a guarantee that they'll go down, he'll be back here next season and we'll be in the same position with him again. I'd sooner have him here as a fourth or even fifth choice back-up option then playing for somebody else who'll never buy him.

I would rather have Niasse than DCL to bring off the bench, Niasse, as others have said has a terrible touch but he can finish.

It's going to be lovely to welcome Oumar, Kevin, Mohamed and Yannick back in to training in June when none of their teams decide to buy them.

There's no nice way to say it but he's a terrible footballer, truly dreadful. That being said he REALLY tries every time he's on the pitch and gives 100% unlike lots of other players we have at this club. He can score some important goals too. Its a good move from your clubs perspective. Without trying to sound patronising he might find his level in a relegation dog fight, he'll definitely improve your chances of staying up Imo.
