Hi mate and welcome to the forum.Millwall fan here coming in peace!
Anyone expecting something like the football factory will be disappointed and anyone worried about there being trouble really doesn’t need to be. The Den is probably one of the safest grounds to visit now due to measures put in place and other than the usual gesturing in the ground, that’s about all you’ll get at a game at our place these days.
Don’t drink at pubs near the ground as then you’re just asking for trouble, but London Bridge is always a popular spot for away fans and completely safe. Train is 5 minutes to South Bermondsey from there and there is a completely separate path for away fans straight to the ground from the station.
Looking forward to this one, should be a cracking atmosphere which a lot of the time these days unfortunately the Den lacks!
Cheers
So you're saying that it's perfectly safe as long as they stay on the path where the home fans are barred, and if they try to get a drink near the ground it will be assumed that they are actively looking for a fight. I'm pretty sure that's the same advice the travelling fans were given when they went to Croatia.Millwall fan here coming in peace!

I thought the league had priority mate, but nothing would amaze me for tv coverage etc, hoping to go to bothDon’t plan around that mate.
That won’t stop tv picking the likes of United v Arsenal for Sunday tv who are both amongst the 16 teams due to play on the following Tuesday.
The games will be moved to Wednesday if picked for tv.
What could possibly go wrong! So you're saying that it's perfectly safe as long as they stay on the path where the home fans are barred, and if they try to get a drink near the ground it will be assumed that they are actively looking for a fight. Hello mate,Hi mate and welcome to the forum.
To be honest I don't think anyone is remotely worried it's just a bit of pantomine and taking the piss.
I'm looking forward to it though, it should be a great atmosphere and an old fashioned cup game with 2 old school clubs.
Agreed - those who go on the coach will be escorted in from about 4 junctions away and all the trains will be dry with Everton met at Euston and taken to ground! You’ll be lucky to see any Millwall fans outside the ground!Millwall fan here coming in peace!

I think all football fans will agree mate - Welcome to GOTHello mate,
Just to add to what I've already said, I was actually on a train to South Bermondsey full to the doors of Millwall & Leeds when we played them at ours at the start of the season and there was nothing more than good-natured banter between us and them. If there was ever going to be trouble this season it would’ve been with them!
Anyway, should be a cracker! Always quite liked Everton. Unfortunately I have to work with a Liverpool fan and every Monday all I bloody hear is how “we’re going to win the league” and “Millwall are [Poor language removed]” – Yes, we’re [Poor language removed]. I don’t need to hear it from you every Monday! He’s genuinely made me hate them and every time I check the scores I pray they’ve lost! At least we have the hatred of Liverpool in common!
Unfortunately we still have idiots who think we're still in the 70's and 80's of football violence but that number seems to be reducing with every season as they're realizing that it's 2019 and there's no place for it.So you're saying that it's perfectly safe as long as they stay on the path where the home fans are barred, and if they try to get a drink near the ground it will be assumed that they are actively looking for a fight. My point is that if you're just going for a good day out and to enjoy the footy you'll be absolutely fine.
