I’ll bet most of them had spent the game nursing one drink and nearly half of them it was a Coke , they’re so different to most football fans it’s actually bizarre .

I think he was more valuable for a cool head and determination than footballing ability last night. You guys definitely need to replace him.

They’re only making a massive deal of that tackle because it’s the one time Salah even bothered Kompany. He had the entire front three in his pocket. It was brilliant defending and he showed his experience by not going to ground in the box at all when Salah and Mane we’re ready to dive at any contact. There were a few times he just ran round the other side of them and took the ball. In his prime he was three times the defender Van Dijk is now.
