Richarlison is Brazil's striker
Bernard has had 40+ caps from Brazil
Sigurdsson has had 70+ caps from Iceland
Walcott has had 40+ in England
Gomes has had ~30 for Portugal
Gana has 60+ for Senegal
Mina is Columbia's first choce CB
Zouma has 10+ caps
Coleman has 80+ caps for Ireland and is their captain
Digne has 10+ for World Cup winning France
Pickford is first choice for Ingerland

That's our starting 11 mate. We don't have "good players" or "average players", we have very good players to better.

I completely agree, however if any of the above / aren`t playing or having an " off " day, we can`t replace them with like for like.

Their replacements simply aren`t good enough.

Take yesterdays game as an example. We replaced Gana with Davies and they cut through us in the middle of the park almost at will.

Our three strikers are average / crap.

Colemans`s legs have gone, Keane has gone back to being garbage again, Pickford has lost the plot, yet we have no one to replace them ( maybe Mina can replace Keane ).

Yesterday was almost like a training match for Spurs at times and really highlighted the players in our team that aren`t good enough.

Silva got it badly wrong yesterday in that he has to accept that when we haven`t he hasn`t got first team players available, he needs to change his game plan to suit the team he puts out - play deeper / more defensively.

The next game will be very telling.

Should never been given the position in the first place , all it needed is to look at his past record and alarm bells were there for everyone to see....apart from the Everton board. The defense has been strengthened but still looks absolutely abysmal , too slow (understandable for 3 big men) but not very good in the air also dont get me started about zonal bloody marking. Overall he has not covered himself in any glory and the way things are panning out it is only going to get worse.

I’m still a little confused as to why we went for a manager who was flavour of the month after his month had finished. He has done little to allay many people’s preconceptions thus far. I do concede however that sacking him now would just be stupid and we can’t become one of those teams.

The problem we have is even if we sack him who gets to name the new manager?

If its Moshiri/Kenwright again fully expect another mid table dud like Howe/Nuno/Garcia

Hasenhuttl was my first choice last season now thats gone and Saints have themselves a diamond. Nagellsmann is alright but not as good as Hasenhuttl. Jardim went off a cliff at Monaco so thats a risk.

Jose/ Mancini/ Conte would be my three main targets and if both said no you would hope Brands is given the task of bringing someone in as he seems to know his onions.

But they had wins against other teams. We don't. Or, admittedly, we barely have wins.

Check out pocchetino and his record against the other "top 6" sides with spurs coming into this season mate, especially away from home and it was appalingly bad.

Up to February last season, they'd managed 1 win in their last 18 away games against the rest of the top 6. Think they had 6 draws, and 11 losses.

deffo don't want him sacked I like him he';s got the right idea but some of this talk is nonsense

people saying he needs more time to build his team and need to get rid of the deadwood etc, whilst all true that doesn't mask the fact he SHOULD be doing better with the players he has

lets get it right weve got a very decent team ( which weve showed at times ) a team should be beating huddersifeld west ham Newcastle Watford at home, teams who want to get into the top7 should not be rolling over at home and letting spurs put 6 past you ( as good as they are )

he needs to show some balls now, drop the absolute wasters who aren't good enough to wear the shirt regardless how good they used to be, show some pride because that was fcking pathetic, looking sound until they eqaulised and then they do what everton do shiit the bed and rolled over, pathetic

If you were to drop the absolute wasters, who was on the bench yesterday who would have made any improvement?.....

Let's face it, we still have a very limited squad... One transfer window was never gonna sort the mess out...and we still have no quality striker...

I'm not saying Silva is the right man, but I personally won't judge him till next season (when he's had 3 windows to rebuild the squad)....

Let’s sack him, hire another manager, let him partly construct his own squad, watch him struggle in some games against miles better teams, then sack him too.

Hell, let’s just manage the team as a forum collective with a series of polls since we all clearly know so much.
Works for me. :)
