Strange game,we didnt look awful,but to gift two free headers inside the 6 yard box to 2 small players is unforgivable,difficult to pick a MOTM because they were all largely anonymous

Trying to play out from the back when you are on the back of 3 awful results, using a new formation and low on confidence is not smart. To try to do it, away from home, against the best pressing team in the league is very, very silly.

First fifteen we were OK,reverted to same old Everton,only came out of our shells when the game was pretty much lost, stupid to get back in to it at 2-1 and concede a ridiculousl goal so soon after,at 3-1 down no pressure and City coasting yes we create and still don't score, Digne and Lookman the only real bright sparks for me.

We probably didn't quite deserve to have lost 3-1, but that team is just so well organized and pass the ball SOOOOOO well. We simply don't.

It's going to take us a bit of time to get there, at least we didn't play a wide target man and hoof it all game I guess.
