I would really really hate to lose Johnny, especially as he played extremely well for us last year. Yeah, he had a rough start to this season but playing in the World Cup (more than three matches) can do that to ya.

That said, he needs to keep quiet and buck up his ideas. If that doesn't happen, then Bayern can give us 12M AND Martin Demechelis and I'd be a very happy camper.

Very well said.

Straigth swap with Bastian Sweinsteiger would be great

great isn't the word for that deal. Wonderful, magical.

If we do sell him we'll need to replace his position, and no doubt put money towards a striker.

I really can't see ys getting much more than we paid for him. Especially as he's beginning to look like one of those problematic players that bounce round clubs. I know if I was Bayern I wouldn't be after signing him. I'd be wondering why a player that had just joined a club wasn't working his ass of to get into the first team.

Jesus we agree on something! :-) Sweinsteiger was the WC player for me. Will never leave Bayern though.

Would not mind Steven Taylor as a replacement and the money being put towards the purchase of a super striker.

I remember thinking he'd become a beast of a player about four years ago and I was proven right.

i think it'd be very hard to recruit him sadly.

Christ! Johnny for steven taylor? You kiddin me?

This just sounds like if ya bird said she liked brad pitt over ya and instead of agreein knowin brad is a sexy chap and out of your league...you get all ghost like, showin those demons, and throw her out on her arse.

Only if Heit continues to speak about his admiration for other clubs. Taylor would be great in getting back that spirit which to my mind only Cahill shows

Are people seriously mentioning Schweinsteiger here, without a metric [Poor language removed] ton of sarcasm?

We've more chance of signing Batman.

We can't be having players like Hetinga making 65K on the bench. There must be a reason why he can't get on the pitch at Everton or Athletico. Granted, he's useful in that he can play multiple positions but is a master of none. At Bayern he'll be in the same boat, sitting on the bench waiting for someone to get injured.

Would take as little as 8M for him in a second, provided we use the money for something.

Kenwright and Moyes are shrewd operators. They don't pay over the odds for players and they don't give assets away for nothing. It's difficult to see where Heitinga would fit into our best eleven. I think Fellaini, Rodwell and Neville contribute more as a holding midfielder. We've yet to see what kind of understanding Jags and Heit can strike up. It would seem that Moyes prefers Distin in that role though. If he's going to go, then it has to be on our terms.
