One good thing that has come out of this game for me is that i will definitely not be scared of playing them any more like i have been for the last few years. We were as good as them for the whole match and but for some sloppy passing and finishing, decision making with an added dose of extreme bad luck we would have taken something out of this game. It would be easy to blame Pickford but it would also be a bit daft imo. He makes costly mistakes now and again due to ego and inexperience but his positives massively outweigh his negatives. We had plenty of chances to score and the RS only won because we gifted them it in a somewhat bizarre fashion. The pleb running on the pitch before the final whistle celebrating like he had just won the champions league was more about relief and disrespect than winning the game.

They were very lucky and they know it and we were as good as a 2nd place team that is battling for top spot. Nothing to fear from any of the top teams imo and we definitely dont have anything to fear when the RS come to Goodison. This Manager and DOF are going to bring success back to Goodison at some point in the future. We have improved massively and that is just after 14 games. Imagine what we will be like after they have had a full season or two. Future is looking exciting blues.

You only run into the centre circle to be seen/noticed. He can apologise all he likes. He'll do it again. He probably apologised after Norwich away. He just doesn't want us/anyone to do it to him.

I'm sure if we score a last minute winner at Goodison and Silva and Ferguson run on and apologise after it'll be totally sound with them though.

Didn't go and havent watched highlights yet. Why Was Gomes so good? Anyone got the mental strength to write a few things that he did ! Something to feel good today

Lots of good points in your post, but we'll still lose at City and Spurs because other than the very odd draw that's just what we do.

City up next away! After the Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea and the [Phrase removed] performances, surely we are due to steal an undeserved win.

Probably will happen and seen those rats top of the league!

Anyway, on the bright side, look at our away fixtures in 2019... I want 10 wins out of 11!

I think overall Silva has done a good job.We were a bit unlucky with the late goal. But sadly i think that was, another bottle job at Anfield. We had enough chances, to get a result and we failed to take them.Oh well hopefully we'll finally beat them next time at Goodison, and hopefully we can get some quality signings in January. The team has improved immensely since Silva took over, but yesterday was a reminder, that we are not the finished article.

I have got over my fume now. So our neighbours got the win and 3 points courtesy of a gifted goal. However the honours go to Everton. The team went out there and took the game to them, our defence was sold as was the midfield just in the first half some sloppy passing gave the ball away. Upfront we need some one in the middle and put Richarlison on the wing.

Very proud of the team the way they played not many go to the red shed and attack them the way we did. You could tell Klippetty Klopp was relieved when the goal was scored up to then he was desperate.

Losing when you arguably should have won, especially in a derby and especially in injury time, is a horrible one to take but the “should have won” bit - and because we played very well as opposed to them being shocking - is massively encouraging to me.

I really feel for Pickford, but as long as he learns from it and comes back stronger I’ve got no beef with the lad.

Also - and let me get my tin hat ready... - I couldn’t care less about Klopp running onto the pitch, either.
