He gets talked up as a top GK by many. That's the context he has to be judged in. A top GK doesn't prove to be the difference between draws and defeats in two of the (very few) derbies he's played in. His form was chronic at the start of the season and he's always liable to lose focus.

If you want to bring the whole GK union into the debate, they're the issues you also draw into the fray. And for my money we dont have the GK many like to argue we have.

He is and always will be a second rate GK who cant curb his natural impetuosity.

He;s no good for us. We need solid and consistent. Just like all aspiring clubs.
Yeah somebody like Lossl from Huddersfield or Etheridge from Cardiff, they'd be much better options wouldn't you agree?

Firstly, I dont condemn Liverpool for getting shut of Karius. They were correct to do so. It was only funny to have a go at a club's supporters who have the YNWA motto doing the throwing under the bus that was pathetic.

Second, his disatribution is not a plus, so there's no taking the rough with the smooth about it for me.

We have an arrogant fool in goal who just cost us. Why is that so hard to accept?

His distribution is critical to the way we play though isn't it?

In fairness I think I did accept he cost us a goal :D!

His distribution is his most overrated feature, sure every now and again he pings a nice ball out but a lot of the time it's very iffy

A lot of them are with his weaker foot though and he still clears a fair bit of distance. He also takes the ball in tough spots and takes 2 or 3 of the opposition attackers out.

A lot of the time he either slices it or gets way too much on a kick, and as someone said above he needs to learn to calm down and not rush his kicks all the time

Didn’t get to see the game, just watched the Boo boo.

Whatevs. So what everyone makes mistakes. Still a top keeper. Thats not Karius level errors, he’s thought its dropping in. You learn that stuff as you go, nobody is born perfect. Every player loses the ball, he’ll take this [Poor language removed] up with him into every game from now on.

Usual suspects lining up to put the boot in I see. Nothing new there then. We lost when we nearly drew and we’ll stick it to them one of these days.

We will never ever progress when giant mistakes are met with an ‘who cares, everyone makes midtakes’ attitude.
I dont actually think we need to shift Jordan because of this, but he’s screwed us twice against the rs now and a third should never happen.

The only way of avoiding a third derby day calamity is by not playing him. This fixture has him pegged now. He'll never get out from under the cloud of derby balls ups. It's in his head and it wont shift. We'll have to score three in a derby to secure a win if he's in goal for us against them in the future.
