Apparently the gossip came from Duncan Castles who in the past has been Mourinho’s mouthpiece in the the press so guessing it is both true and something that Jose wanted known.

They’ve won nothing since Ferguson left. All of the top 6 except Spurs have won multiple trophies in that same period. I know what you mean though. No one wobbles their heads like Mourinho can. He’ll still probably end their title challenge this season.

He's not wrong...but - rightly or wrongly, the clock's ticking on him.
