I read this thread and don’t know whether to pity the posters who can’t see the magical work Moshri, Silva and Brands have done in the last 6 months or excited for them knowing what’s coming there way.

I think tomorrow’s the day when people start realising we’re currently well on the way to watching the best Everton team we’ve seen for at least 25 years.

This team are the real deal, massively under rated, very well managed and have all the tools to beat an over rated Liverpool side.

But we now have a team who is certainly capable of beating them, and a manager who will actually try and go for a result.
Mate we have been beaten by them when they have played their reserves.

It's really not a shock that the odds aren't in our favour. It's embarrassing how much we have been beaten in this fixture

As I say, we have a much better manager & team now. You'd think that the betting company's would know that this is one of the best chances to beat them we've had in a very long time.

The run can't go on forever.

As bad a record as it is...we have only actually lost 5 of the last 14 league derbies so about 35% of them.

Last year a team managed by Sam Allardyce, with a back 4 of Kenny, Williams, Holgate and Martina and a strike partnership of Niasse and DCL got a draw against a Liverpool side playing to a higher level.

It’s certainly not absurd to think this Everton team can get something more.

We had a 25 goal a season striker and still lost.

We drew in a game that led to them sacking their manager afterwards because they were that bad.

Again 19 years , no matter who our team was. We finished 4th and never won there, we finished above them and never best them there.

If/when we fail to beat them tomorrow we will have done so with this so called better team.

It's not absurd to think we can win this more than every 19 years mate.

It's not absurd to think we can win more than 3 times in 15 years.

Yet here we are.

I'm going to say it.

I like Klopp and this is the least I've ever hated a Liverpool team.

Having said that, I want us to make orphans of their children.

He's an absolute whopper who has shown his true sniedey self since being at Liverpool.

Very affable guy obviously who puts across this infectious personality for people to get behind but he's let his mask slip a few times since being there.

I can't take anything away from him as a coach though, he obviously improves players, question marks over his management of the really big games but a great coach nonetheless.

People aren’t on to this Everton side just yet. Pundits, opposition fans and many Everton fans aren’t either although to be fair, clubs and there scouting networks certainly are as can be seen by the comments of all the managers we are facing now.

Enjoy the odds cause the bookies will soon be on to it and that will be the end of it.

I made a fortune backing Tommy Fleetwood for 18 months when he was winning and regularly getting placed at 50/1. The best I get now is about 12’s.
