These lot don’t concede much at home so I’m thinking 0-0 or a scrappy 1-0 win to us. They haven’t impressed me at all this season and reminds me of Man Utd from last season finishing 2nd but playing like crap all season getting the luck

My optimism and excitement evaporated a long time ago for this fixture I've seen us beaten by some of the worse Liverpool sides in my life time .

This time next week it'll all be over. There's a lot of pessimistic optimists on here. We've given United and Arsenal a good game and kept out Chelsea time to go one better. Don't see Silva and our players bottling it like we usually do. Just got to be alert for a dodgy pen.

The thing is, we've said this about a lot of new managers and we continue to not perform in these games. It's probably a good thing we've got rid of the old guard who seem to freeze every time at Anfield but of the players we've brought in it'll be a big ask for them to deliver on the Sunday. We can only hope.

It will be interesting to see how Silva approaches this pre-game. Sick to death of managers saying they will treat it as any other game and then completely changing formation and personnel. Was it under Koeman we had the 10 game undefeated streak? 7 or 8 wins in there, derby comes up and bam: 5 at the back, defensive second string players everywhere and nobody having a clue where they are or what they're supposed to do. Play the team that's getting results ffs

Dreading it as per. It takes a long time for the scars of previous derbies to heal. Mind you after the draw there last season which had Klopp fuming at the ref you never ever know, that's the beauty of it.

It will be the first derby for much of our players which may be a good thing as they won't be carrying any emotional baggage. I've no no doubt Silva will set us up to have a go, but they are bound to come into it at some point to a strong mentality will be required.

'Expect the worst then anything above that is a bonus' is my derby motto. Just hope Satan has a day off work and we sneak the win, though I'd take a draw now. Up the Blues.
