I don't even necessarily think he was playing for the draw, I think it enabled Coleman and Digne to push further forward.[/QUOTE]

Agree on your first point
Walcott and especially Bernard had 2 gilt edged chances to score
Walcott first touch was poor and Bernard , well no one knows what happened there
If we had scored first they would have had to come at us leaving space in behind for us to counter attack into
We definitely need a proven finisher

Any coach that plays for a draw will lose the confidence of his players over time.
The best way to win that game was not to concede.
This is when we get to say - we were unlucky not to win that.
Not so against Arsenal or Man U.

Those two chances were the best of the match.
Twice in two games now, if Rico had been in Bernard's position he probably would have scored.
I think until we get a class striker we should play the false 9, either Bernard or Lookman holding and feeding Rico and Walcott; with Sig a box to box.

Proper manager, big fan before he came, bigger fan now.

That was the best performance of the season for me.

Giving us back our club.

I really didn't know much about him before, apart from that he was smart, young and seemed to be sophisticated lol. Was always hopeful, and the early signs are so good.

Conceded just 5 in 7 (can't count the friendly) since the west ham game is a good start to improving our defence. Especially as 3 of those games have been away to Leicester (who were the only team to have scored every game before Saturday), United and Chelsea. Especially with one of those goals being a stupid pen, so should be 4 in 7.

He conceded abar 400 goals mert

@Kev The Rat I see you`ve emerged from your nest, your thoughts on the progress of Mr Silva so far would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance x
He's got a a much better squad to work with than the previous managers, there are signs of improvement, particularly as he's been able to ditch rubbish like Davies, Schneiderlin and DCL due to having more options at his disposal.
