..I like this lad, amazing energy and a similar type to Gueye. I have always felt he needs to improve when in possession of a football but you’d know he was there if you were playing against him.

I think his passing is actually underrated. My problem with him is I think he plays within himself too often.

He had a good game last night. Very comfortable in possession and breaks play up well. Whether he has enough to be a PL player we will have to see. In many ways almost an opposite of Davies (who can do everything but needs to pitch it all together).

I like him. Still thinks he looks a little lumbering and slow when running, but he can work around that. I bet he looks slower than he is.

Looked decent the few games he played last season but I think quite a few of the youngsters were pretty stunted in the way they were told to play last season under that anus of a manager.
Bit more confidence with team playing well and a forward thinking style will bring out the best in him I hope.
Going to be a classy player given a few more games - fingers and toes crossed.

...possession was certainly a weakness at youth level even if the rest of his game made him a stand out, but as you indicate, it’s probably something they have worked on in training.

I didn't watch last night but have always felt he was bit more of a 'classical' footballer than a gueye type, more positional sense and comfortable on the ball, so interesting to see the comparison. Hopefully he can stay involved and progress

lollol

He is a "solid" player so far.

I can't say I have ever watched him and thought "Wow, that's great". At the same time I have never watched him and thought "what the hell was that?".

..interesting that, I always see him as a spoiler, a tackler and an interceptor who closes the opposition players down. Tremendous engine on him, be a nuisance to play against.
