I hate these kind of stats, I just want to win games and do not care if they are all 1-0.
I know where you're coming from mate. If we won a load of games 1-0 and ended up closer to the top 6 than we have been over the last 4 seasons, then I'm sure a lot of people will be happy.

But after the dross that was served up under Allardyce last season, I'm honestly just content at the moment that we at least have a plan, and that plan includes playing decent football that you can enjoy.

I understand the frustration of the losses away to Arsenal and United, and I was also disappointed by the results. But I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't comforted by the performances in both games, or that we didn't go there just to "not lose" as has been the case in the last couple of seasons.

Anything less than 7th for me this season is a failure considering the talent we have in the side.

Because of the dropped points at Huddersfield, West Ham, Bournemouth and Wolves if we are to get 7th over Bournemouth and Watford Silva will need to pull a shock win or two against the top 6 this season to make up for points dropped whilst also ensuring we keep beating the gash sides.

If we sign a good centre forward in January there can be no excuses if we aint in 7th come the seasons end.

Agree do not want to go any where with a not lose mentality just want to win games. I put the score line figure to just support my win desire.

we'll beat some of the pathetic pretenders like the RS, Mina to become our weapon of mass destruction

I agree that anything less than 7th is disappointing. But Bournemouth and Watford will both go through bad spells this season. they will also have their injury problems unless they are very fortunate. I'm not overly concerned about our position at the moment, or the dropped points that happen to all teams. By the end of the season I think we'll be comfortably 7th with some decent results/performances home and away to the top 6 to boot.

Practically all of your posts are negative to the extreme mate. Now I understand that it's good to have a different point of view to balance the argument, but you must watch a football match purely to pick out all the negativities. I'm surprised you bother to watch football at all because there can't be any enjoyment in it for you.

Maybe it's because he's actually a RS mate ?

No. But the improvement on where we were at the end of last season is huge and we are only 10 games in. We still haven't played our strongest team yet. Do you expect him to win the premier league in his first season?
I don't expect him to win the Premier league ever, never mind in his first season. The results are pretty much what we had with the previous managers so far, for example Koeman had 18 points after 10 games and Allardyce had 13 whilst Marco has 15 so it's pretty much more of the same so far at least in terms of results, which is acceptable of course but excuse me if I'm not really that overly excited and think it's far to early to be proclaiming him to have proven his doubters wrong yet, yes he plays a more attacking open game which is more acceptable than Allardyce but if results don't improve over time he'll go the same way as the others... Out the door as a failure.

Which is all fair comment mate. But nobody is celebrating 9th place trophy 10 games into the season either, which your original post was suggesting.
