Keep one of McCarthy, Schneiderlin, Besic as backup to our current midfielders. Flog the other two asap. Not really arsed which two go as imo they're all woeful. Actually, sell all three and get somebody better in. Baningame is as good as either of those tbf.

The fact that you think tha's a provocative post speaks more about you and your lack of football knowledge.

McCarthy shuffling round on two sticks would be better than Davies and Gueye and Schneiderlin.

I mean looking to the summer, there's more value in offloading schneiderlin and besic than Mccarthy to me. There's not much difference in quality between those 3, and Davies, but at least Davies and Mccarthy will always give you that 100% that schneiderlin won't.

I still feel we need a more defensive mid, as well as someone like gomes, and if we bring in those two, it's there any need for Mccarthy? If it's a toss up between him and Davies, who would blues go for? I think Mccarthy would fetch more of a fee whilst Davies is more reliable and better for the future.

McCarthy Gueye Davies and Gomes are a decent 4 for the 2 deep lying positions we have. Looks as through Schneiderlin is the odd one out.

If he returns to the level he was at v Liverpool and Arsenal the season before last then he gets in our midfield. Anything less than that then he doesn’t.

Good cross for the third goal after a rampaging run when everyone had quit.

I can see him having a part to play at some point this season. Obviously Gana/Gomes should start when fit, but he could come in and do a job if called for.

I love besic. But I’d rather him and schneiderlin go before McCarthy.

Plus if he gets to the level he was at two seasons ago we will be just fine.
