Compare and contrast with who we had previously. Mirallas, deulofeu, strikers such as enner Valencia playing in wide positions.

Will be a great player for us for at least another season or possibly two, and can guide and help players like lookman gradually over time become first team players.

He hasn't been 'out of form'.

Last week he was quieter than usual, but by no means did he play badly.

Weird this forum sometimes.
Its crazy. Walcott is at his best when he’s got room to run into. When he doesnt have that, he’s not as visible, and these great judges of footballers come creeping out, hurlig insults.

Walcott in poor form is 10x what we've had on the flanks in years gone by.

Last year we (at times) had Sigurdsson, Niaase, DCL and Sandro play on the on the wings. Now people aren't happy with Theo?

It is because they have seen how good he is and what damage he can do...........so he has to do it every game now. He is an excellent player that will have a few off days but even those off days are likely to produce something. I cannot forgive the fans who actually believe that he missed a sitter. He missed a great chance but Henderson made it difficult and did well........now if Henderson wasn't there and he missed then that would defo be a sitter. Just look at the way he got himself between the defenders then left them dead on there heels and you can see a prime reason why Walcott is still one of our better players.

Nothing wrong with wanting better all the time, but I agree with the above.

Or we could compare to the left side which has Bernard /Richarlison...id prefer someone of that quality on the right.

Zatara has infected our fanbase, it's the only explanation. Soon, we will only be able to like players who have just been born and potentially have 34 years to give to our club. Of course we will hate them as soon as they turn 23

When he signed last Jan i said hed be good for 1.5 seasons...hes had loads of injuries and relies on pace.

Coleman/Walcott OR Digne/Bernard/Richarlison

You decide which is the best...

Walcott has achieved more in his career than both of those you stated, combined. And that's including lengthy injury lay offs.

You're the one who has challenged quality.

And for the record, Zouma has won more trophies than Ashley Williams.

D-, must try harder next time.

Captaining Wales in the world cup and performing extremely well merits a mention.

As for quality, what does that have to do with what Walcott has achieved in the premier league?

Bernard and Richarlison are far better players...quality stands out a mile.

No, captaining a minnow over the course of 7/8 games doesn't deserve a mention.

I'm not doubting how good both Bernard and Richarlison are, but Theo Walcott is a top player who has had a fantastic career.

If either Bernard or Richarlison can achieve what Walcott has then I'm sure they will be thrilled.

Don't let facts get in the way of your original comment though.

Calls for bringing Tubby Ashley back are a little surprising. He played some good games for Swansea (especially against us!) but that was a while ago now and the effects of his daily gorging on full English breakfasts have taken their toll....I prefer fat Lazza at CB
