Us wanting it is not the same as us being able to deliver it profitability, which is ultimately what this hinges on.

I'm sure he's very successful in his field and that but in reality, he's the owner of a relatively small company that people were very surprised won the contract for BMD. The same could be said of Roma.

The irony of course BMD and Roma are the two grounds he's most famous for designing, neither of them are actually grounds yet. Just pie in the sky, maybe one day.

The whole Everton tatoo is an embarrassment, got a bit of attention on twitter, loads of blues called him a legend so he got a tattoo. How professional of a so called top architect. Madness all round.

Why is so high profile anyway?

Had a stadium designer ever been so in the limelight as him? Couldn't tell you who designed most stadia. What is the name of the fella who did Spurs? Who designed Anfield's main stand? The Emirates?

Normally they just keep their heads down and design the thing, our guy parades round getting tattoos, mouthing off on twitter and does very little actual designing.

Dipesh Patel designed the Man City stadium, back when it was the common wealth games venue. I know because our sons play juniors rugby together. He has also designed a few out in the Middle East for the next World Cup. Check out his website "Pattern Architects" and see some of the designs.

This, we also wanted the Kings Dock, we wanted Kirby and so did Tesco's.....etc wanting dosent mean getting when it comes to Everton.
For what its worth i do think it will happen, but nothing will start for years IMO. Interesting this came up on my Facebook memories timeline, "Everton’s Farhad Moshiri to visit two sites for proposed new stadium" and it was 2 years ago last week, thats how long nothing has been happening for

He is only high profile in here. You are right that most of us don’t know who designed Spurs stadium. Do you think Spurs fans have heard of Dan Meis (apart from the ones who post in here)
