I’m arsed that we’re the punchline of the media. Silva, the man to improve on Fat Sam’s torrid tenure, and he is going to do worse. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t happening to us.

Aww diddums, the day any sane Evertonian gives notice of thought to media perception is the day millions of us wind up in insane asylums

"I don’t have doubts when I prepare for the match," he said. "We played last Saturday, and we play next Saturday as well. I try to keep some consistency with three at the back who played the last game and I brought in Leighton Baines and for him he has played many, many times in this competition.

"It's normal for us to change the goalkeeper in this competition.

"We kept Tom, which is normal. Morgan is another player who normally plays in our starting XI. He started the season. Even Cenk is a normal starting 11 player.

"The only change really which was new was the three players behind the striker, Kieran and the two wingers. I think everyone agree with me the wingers did very well. And Kieran tried some things for us and is a player who needs to play more.

"The only new things we put on our starting 11 were the two wingers and the player behind the striker. It is my opinion and I think you have to agree with me?"

Once again Everton failed to keep a clean sheet and Silva added: "It is something important for me. They know what is our expectations, how it is important for us to be compact. For the goal we are in a good shape when they start to go one against one with two against one from the side. It is a lack of aggressiveness clear.

"We had to be more aggressive in that situation."

Ah, he is following the Martinez route and talking absolute bollocks. You lost the game, knobhead, so clearly it was the right team to put out.

There is no sign of improvement. We’ve only beaten: Rotherham, Southampton and Fulham, all at home, this season. We have kept one clean sheet in NINE games.

If he was a manager with pedigree, who has a history of success in the league, he might deserve some more time. As it is, this fella is some no mark who went 16 games without a win at his previous club.

We will only improve once we get in a top manager. As it is, Silva will be sacked and we’ll continue the merry-go-round.

Fat Sam will be laughing his head off at this shambles.

Depends who you class as a top manager doesn't it and will they come here? Chances are we will be more than likely in the exact same situation. I won't sugarcoat it has not been good enough but we are transitioning how we play and it rarely goes perfectly straight away. It is dangerous to start firing managers after x amount of games, if nothing else we wouldn't have had the glory years of Kendall and Sir Alex Ferguson would have been classed as a manager who didn't make it in the English league!

I thought we should have looked at Mancini or someone else who has won the league or CL, so we can take away any excuses about the manager not being good enough so I understand where you are coming from. But we really need stability at the moment and unless things go really south we need to be patient and let him get on with the job, at least for 2 years.

Do I mate? Yeah? I exist in the same one where pretty much everyone around me in the match and in the pub after held the same opinion. But you know best, don’t you, fella?

Very much so.

Alls you do is moan about stuff that really does not matter. Who cares if Sky have a pop at us. Who cares if Jim White tries to get some calls going on TalkSport cause we've been a bit rubbish during the start of a transitional season. Couldn't give a monkeys myself, like many sane Blues.
