Yeah. Hiring and firing managers has done Chelsea and Man City a lot of damage over the years. Longevity is what we need, look how many trophies that yielded under Moyes.

They both had foundations set though, whether it by unlimited wealth, a managers approach or a bit of both.

We are not in a place where we can just keep on paying off managers and then spending even more money on the new managers players, etc. We need to get to the top to be able to use hiring/firing tactics to keep us at the top.

LvG - Wins FA Cup - Sacked.

Jose - Wins League Cup and Europa League - Soon to be sacked.

Big clubs sack managers when they aren't meeting the club's expectations. Silva will be sacked, no doubt about it.

Are we a big cub.....yet.

They win something and then when they don't they get sacked (in most cases).

It is not a model that will work for us, we finish 7th - sacked, we finish 7th - sacked, we finish 7th - sacked.

That is how your plan will look, in relation to us, in a best case scenario.

You are omitting one slight difference. Utd have much better quality in their squad so their expectations are much higher. Also LVG was sacked at the end of his 2nd season, not after 6 games into his first as you are ridiculously calling for before Silva has even got his preferred first XI on the pitch.

I agree, but I have a sneaking suspicion he won't be here come the end of the season.

Yeah and look at the state Utd are in now!

I'd like to take a better look at the time Klopp and Pochetino have been afforded at Liverpool & spurs, despite not winning anything yet, they are both in and around there, and what we would give to be in and around there!

This is a good point Raino

We aren't big. We are crap.

Also... catch a grip.
We're a club with the 11th most expensively assembled squad in World football and some are saying 10th is good enough.

Every club has expectations that need to be met.

Ah, but you say we're crap, let's keep with that thinking and accept it.

Call yourself a supporter of this club. Pathetic attitude to have.

LvG was afforded more time because he is a manager with pedigree.

Silva is a no mark and won't last long here.

I think you’re badly deluded and away with the fairies myself.
