Well Arsenal had nearly double of the ball than we did, both sides had 9 shots, we had 6 on target to their 5, and we had more corners. (Means squat do corners mind)

Blame Peter Czeh.
they had players that could finish, we didn't.

Silva needs to figure out he cant use the same tactics every week, we have already been found out, even the one win against southampton only came because ings missed 2 sitters.

Some interesting stats below. Quite alarming really when you think about it. Got to give the manager time to build and improve of course and need to be patient but we also cannot ignore the fact that we are currently worse off than we were at the same point last season and against a lot poorer teams. We are in the early stages of a new regime and are playing nicer football of course but need to start picking up some wins and points pronto. Hopefully things will improve a lot as we move forward and get better and start winning games.

I suppose sans always free to come back In January to save us again. I never wanted Marco I just hope it does with because we have been messing around with managers for so long and haven't got anywhere.

I honestly have no other idea other than just letting Silva get on with it. When I saw the team today with Davies captain (Davies as captain ffs, how bad is that) it really did confirm that he really hasn't got a lot to work with

Yes I agree this team this season is a counter attack team. Would be very effective if done cleverly. But Marco doesnt like it much, so we ll see

Can anyone summarise his interview that just went up on the official twitter account?
We played phenomenally, despite the fact he didn’t score DCL was phenomenal, we showed phenomenal team spirit and to come away from there minus two goals and with zero points was a phenomenal achievement

did you paste phenomenal or type it out manually? when i type it out manually i always frak it up

We conceded twice. And not keeping clean sheets. First thing first to win a game is to know how to defend.
No, that's the first thing to not lose a game - it's a negative mentality to have and too often we get mauled by the big boys because we'll go to their place and look to defend for 90 minutes and just get picked off. Today was different because we took the game to them and actually tried attacking and a high press for a change. We were creating enough to have killed it off before half time.

Got beat by a worldy and a blatant offside goal that completely took it out of us.

I really don't think there was anything majorly suspect about our defending there today and I thought our defending from set pieces looked to be miles better. I think we were much better without the ball than we have been and thought our game plan was a lot clearer to see. We can obviously still improve on aspects and a better ball player next to Gueye (hopefully Gomes) and Mina coming into the team are definitely going to improve us. I fancy us to run Fulham ragged next week.

We all think the same before we played Huddersfield and West Ham.

I believe in good defence and grinding out results accordingly. This is accepting reality.

arsenal were poor, thats the worst i have seen them play since I can remember and we still lost 2-0.
think about that...

Yes, Silva really needs to go now before its too late and we get relegated at the end of the season and then Richarlison will go as well on the cheap and then we can pay out millions in compo to him and then we can tap up a manager from another club and pay them millions in compo as well and maybe get a points deductions as well and then we can start all over again and bin everyone off and spend squillions getting loads and loads of new players in etc etc.

Or maybe people can wise up and give the man a chance.

And I'm saying our defence was quite clearly not the problem today, our defence is not what let us down today mate, it was the fact that we didn't take our chances.

Okay you believe in good defence that's fine but how come their defence was far and beyond worse than ours today yet they didn't lose?... They won because they have two (very expensive) strikers there who can take chances (even though the second obviously shouldn't have stood)

Totally agree, even the red pundits on sky have just said Everton were the best team up until Arsenal scored, which was against the run of play.

When was the last time we could say that about a team going to Arsenal

Omg didn't realise that happened!

Two red shites praising us! all is well!
