There were a couple of typically awful passes but other than that he was more than acceptable.
Definitely prefer him next to Gana (who i thought had by far his best game for a long time) than Scheiderlin.

Played well and carried the utterly appalling Gueye through the game. It's hard to thrive as a midfielder when your partner can't find you under no pressure from 12 feet away.

That sequence of misplaced passes that went out of play sums him up for me,those passes were easy and under no pressure and he still couldn't get those right.
