We’ve lost 1 in 5 why would we sack him lol

Fact it I can’t find any positive from getting 1 point against Huddersfield and West Ham at home. If we have played RS, Spurs, Chelsea, City and Man Utd and we lost 1 I would say fair enough but no, the other 3 are Soton, Wolves and Bournemouth. It’s a dreadful return for these fixtures and Arsenal away next. The reality is I will be happy if we don’t lose next week.

But we’re not in a position to be saying fair enough at only losing 1 in 5 to the top 6. Teams like Bournemouth are where we are at the minute.

Pickford

Coleman - Zouma - Mina - Digne

Gana - Gomes

Sigurdsson
Walcott
-------------------- Bernard
Richarlison

Given everyone is fit & available, should we imagine that this would be close to being his preferred XI this season? It looks good on paper, but it concerns me that persisting with the high defensive line will still leak goals on a consistent basis..
If Gana covered whichever full back was attacking ( see Yarmelenkos first goal yesterday ) then having attacking Full backs is not an issue.
Gana has some good attributes but defensive discipline is not one of them
The line up you mentioned will win games if they all do their jobs properly

We were 8th with a manager who can’t attack with a worse squad. I don’t know how we are becoming the level of Bournemouth when we spend huge on transfer fees and wages.

Can anyone really say they haven't been disappointed so far? Let's hope we do a bit better when all his signings are available or he'll be under real pressure and rightly so, best of the rest should be a minimum target with the money we spend now.

cant really say he is ****. he is playing the way he has always played at any of the teams he has managed. not really sure why moshiri was chasing him so hard.
i always thought of him as a cheap stop gap a manager to trim the squad and play a exciting brand of football. that all changed when moshiri decided to spend big again in the transfer window

Nothing like writing a manager off after 2 months.

He must learn and realise his shortcomings in his tactics. Beating the like in Fulham and Palace at home is not too much to ask for. I hope we can turn this around I really do. The signings he and Brands had made are the right calibre.
