how is it ridiculous blaming the MANAGER for consecutive, shambolic performance's against some of the leagues worst teams...

Because the manager isn't playing real life FIFA and controlling the players, it's on them to perform on the pitch and carry out his instructions. You can see there's a plan in place but we aren't performing to a good standard and that's down to the players. Out there was the same lot that haven't performed to a consistently good standard for ages now.

we don't need a manager then is what your saying.

of course its down to the manager

Loads of times today we played with a tempo that was high but just did nothing. Just wasted possession, I'm all for high press etc... but there needs to be a mix, DCL, Niasse, Gueye all just lumping the ball forward almost for the sake of it.

Seriously? What's this "plan" then?

As other posts have suggested, it's going to take more than a few weeks to clear up the mess left by the previous two fools entrusted with managing our great club.
A home defeat to West Ham would upset me during any season but Marco needs a lot more time and a little more luck with injuries before we start having a serious go at him. And who would have thought that such a glaring error by 'England's England's Number One' would have led to us going 2-0 down inside half an hour.
Time, patience and at least two more transfer windows are what we need before we start to see a truly great Everton team but Digne, for one, looks the business. He's talented, quick and looks like the type of player who will give us 100% effort in every game.

largely down to a complete lack of movement up front.

Tosun offers nothing and is like a statue.

Proper squad???? Look how big the squad is

Size is irrelevant. He’s had to turf out the absolute bottom feeders we had in it before. Now he needs to turf out the crap that floated above it. His buys are our best players after a few games, shows you all you need to know about the state of the rest of them. They’ve had coaching from Martinez Koeman Unsworth and Allardyce and ignored all of it. I don’t see why Silva should magically get a tune out of them. They’re just not good enough.

What did he say mate
Just said that we were very poor but despite that if we’d cut out individual errors at both ends we’d have won the game. He said we had 4-5 clear cut chances and scored one. They had 3 clear chances and scored 3. He said there’s not much you can do to legislate for errors like the one leading to the second goal. He said they’d prepared in training for incidents like the first goal but for some reason didn’t do the business on the pitch

I inderstand its going to take time, but Silva should realise this and base his tactics on keeping it tight and play a more defensive style in order to at least try and keep a clean sheet and then progress it from there...

going gung ho and losing to west ham at home and throwing away the bornemouth game is not what its about.

Badly needs to do something about the central midfield. Right now we´ve got Gueye being the creative force which simply isn´t working, and the solution definitely isn´t Davies. Hopefully someone like Bernard can drop back in there during games where we will have a lot of possession and influence things for us.

I'm not saying we don't need a manager as we obviously do, I'm saying it's down to the players to carry out his instructions and once again they've not performed, like they haven't done for 4 managers now. Again half the starting 11 is missing and it's only been 2 poor results. If it's December and we're still struggling then fair enough questions do need to be asked but calling for the manager's head etc. at this point is nothing short of lunacy.
