Is there a stadium involved?

Good question mate- would like to know the answer too and also when we' re going o hit the jackpot of having the affluence of the Arsenal supporting folk. Not having me dodgy hotdog ritual taken away from me by a bunch of upwardly mobile toffs.

Everton could have a 75,000 seater and get the revenues in via volume of fans. Also, Everton's fanbase is also way out into Lancashire and Cheshire. Merseyrail terminates at Chester, Southport, Ormskirk, West Kirkby and it will extend via the new electrification to Wigan and St.Helens, all within easy reach of a stadium station . The affluent of this region,of which there is a lot, would attend.

Reverse class snobbery - discrimination. BTW, i don't see Toffs at Arsenal. Not in North London you don't.

Why don't we move to a place where there is loads of people and see if they want to support Everton.

You for real mate. Much of this has already been said but Evertonians are a certain breed- we drink in the local pubs, utilise the local food establishments and many have a matchday ritual that will not be broken lightly if atall. Everton will not have the demand of the 2k to 3k £'s club seats per season that Arsenal dedicate a complete level of their stadium to- these are not the traditional corporate client taking up these seats- moreover fans with high disposable incomes and enough of them to boot. It's a very real situation that a proportion of our matchday crowd see it a massive success to afford the matchday ticket and many of these are guys and girls that will try and attend every game- massive pat on the back to every single one of them as I have a decent standard of living but could presently only dream of affording to spend £100 plus per match to take my family along to each game. We know our football collectively as Evertonians and what it means to be chosen as a fan. No amount of transport access will evolve that identity beyond what the fans demand. Increasing revenue is a must but the way it's done, if & when will be a million miles away from the Arsenal model- i'd bet my life on it mate.

As Ghost said lets become a franchise we'll really have a soul then heh.

Merseyside has loads of people - about 1.5 million of them and millions out into Lancs and Cheshire as well. Why don't we build a stadium on a rapid-transit rail line and the they will go - as they did at Arsenal. Get it?

You mean YOU do. Most do not.
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

See again you miss the context of a post to fulfil your own agenda, I myself do not drink. Really do give it up. What you propose will not happen. The forseeable future is money being taken away from the public purse and just like your mothballed stations many more projects will be laid to rest. The hardwork done to restablish regeneration in the NorthWest region will very quickly become a thing of the past and EFC's requirements for a super-stadium with super transport links will not be on the tip of the tongue of many developers {if any remain in the region}after what will prove for many to be be brutal spending cuts in our region in the coming years.

Err guys. This dude is on a proper wind up. I think sharpy saw it a mile off.

so listen all you bad tits. WE'd have Messi on one wing and Ronaldo on the other if we could just get a modern train station to Goodison.

Without it, its Dickov time. Or as you lot say, GET JO ON.

Almost, I get the impression (only just mind, I'm pretty slow like the rest of us) that we could have Messi and Ronaldo providing we had a trainride to Kirkby.
Does Bill pay ya well?

Because they won't you major scone head.

You should partner up with that Cyborg wanting American. You'd make a great double act.

You mean those who write:

"is there a stadium involved?"
"what are the trains for?"
"people will not use train to go to a station next to the stadium"
etc

These are not on a wind up? Or are they genuinely just plain dumb?

WE'd have Messi on one wing and Ronaldo on the other if we could just get a modern train station to Goodison.

Another one. It was clearly put to you you also need a top quality stadium, not an old wooden crock.
